Hoosier Pride at Hoosier Ridge
A company must choose quality materials, so Hoosier Ridge proudly uses Owens-Corning to supply our shingles. While Owens-Corning has plants worldwide, we purchase our shingles from their Brookville, Indiana plant to proudly exemplify our dedication to Hoosiers by supporting hard-working employees from our home state. The plant is in Brookville and employs approximately 120 workers. With a population of only 2,600, the Owens-Corning plant is a significant employer in that town.
Mike Conley, one of the owners of Hoosier Ridge, knew the quality of Owens-Corning shingles from previous employment at another roofing company. “I recognized the Pink Panther logo from when I was young,” he says, a recognizable mascot Owens-Corning adopted in 1980. As Hoosier Ridge seeks to support Indiana, and knowing the quality of Owens-Corning materials, Mike knew there was no other option for his own company.
As Hoosier Ridge hopes to expand into other industries, such as interior construction, our goal is to continue to use Indiana-based companies and products to build a reputation for supporting our local economies and giving back to the men and women who work hard to support their families.
