Hoosier Ridge was founded on trust, service, and a shared history. Owners Mike Conley and Jarod Toomey first met while serving in the United States Army—Mike was newly assigned to their unit, while Jarod had just returned from a deployment in Iraq. After serving another deployment together, they built a bond forged in trust and carried their friendship into civilian life.

Mike pursued a career in law enforcement, while Jarod continued active duty with the National Guard. During a trip to a Tennessee cabin, they brainstormed several business ideas—including a future distillery that customers will one day experience. After retiring from law enforcement, Mike entered the roofing industry, gaining valuable experience and a vision for a company that would stand apart by prioritizing personal, respectful relationships with customers.

As Hoosier Ridge took shape, Mike and Jarod assembled a team of like-minded professionals, assigning roles based on skill, knowledge, and potential. Their mission is simple: to provide top-quality materials and craftsmanship while upholding their promises with integrity. Beyond roofing, they go the extra mile—whether offering expert advice on purchases, lending a hand with a move, or simply treating customers like family.
